Can I use this for ventilation?

I already own it, just wanna make sure it’s good for ventilation before I install it. My shop is 30’x40’ but my station is 8’x4’x12’. Also should I install it top/middle of my ventilation hood or center of my torch? TIA I appreciate any help.
