Anyone have Experience getting off of lamictal XR?

I had been on a generic lamictal XR for half a year.. got a generic switch and it caused me to be dizzy and lethargic and tired.. I got back onto the brand I tolerated and nothing changed.. weaned off of lamictal XR and I’ve been off of it for two weeks.. I've been dizzy and groggy still.. less intense and I can think clearly.. I just want to see if this is normal or others experience this? Please share any and all experience and input
