Sudden very dry lips after starting Lamotrogine

I started meds just under a week ago and my top lip is super dry out of nowhere. It's not itchy and it doesn't hurt, it just generally uncomfortable. My bottom lip is fine which seems strange to me.
It is winter and dry lips are something I usually deal with around this time of year, but this has been a 0 to 100 as far as dryness.
I think I'm gonna contact my doctor out of paranoia because it's giving me some crazy anxiety, but I just wanted to know if that's a common occurrence when starting this medication or if it is a cause for concern.
