It finally feels like our boys are starting to come around as a solid unit and a team that can be respected and feared in the league again. Our years of hard struggle without getting a NBA title for nearly a decade feels like a old scar on the body that will not go away and I think we're finally finding a remedy for it after that great win last night. I remember back in the 2014-2015 season's opener, just wishing that we can be dominant again like our usual selves, but only being disappointed and crying for a week because Randle injured his knee to go out for the season.
Time goes on by, we draft DLO and the evil Italian Pringles Man resigns from the team. Kobe retires, Luke Walton comes in, and we draft Slender Man out of Duke, still hoping for some kind of a spark that will lead this rebel alliance against the dominant force of the Cavs and the Warriors, but the 2016-2017 still fails to prevail. But then along came Lonzo Ball, and a good part of the first half of the season felt like another fluke but ever since the ASG-Break, we have been unstoppable. I know that some teams suffer way more than us, but it felt like an eternity seeing my beloved Lakers suffer for the last half a decade and we're FINALLY becoming a force to be reckoned with.
FUCK DAN GILBERT, FUCK THE CELTICS, FUCK PAUL "I SHIT MY PANTS DURING A GAME" PIERCE, FUCK BILL SIMMONS, FUCK THE ENTIRE CITY OF BOSTON, AND I LOVE BASKETBALL!!!
