Its only fitting lebron was kobeâs successor , i mean could you imagine some of these FA? Carmelo in 2014 would have been basically The Knicks West, Had Dwight stayed in 2013 weâd still be a lottery team & he would eventually crumbled as the âmanâ Lamarcus Aldridge in 2015, dude just does not have superstar of the lakers feel to him & he just doesnât have the personality or game of that guy.
I think it worked out perfect for us Lebron coming & bringing in AD as well
The clippers couldnât capatalize & win a ring when the lakers were down, it was pretty sad in 2014 when the staples was open during playoff time but only for the clippers & not lakers
Aldridge has always seem boring to me canât even imagine him as the superstar of the Lakers
I seriously doubt the Lakers would be good with Dwight at the helm with Kobe with a torn Achilles they barely made the playoffs when healthy so they wouldnât even sniff the playoffs the next year & dwight just wasnât in the same cloth of previous Laker big men
Aldridge was way too boring of a player & not laker material, he more fit the the Spurs with the âgo to work with your lunch pailâ type of player
& melo like i mentioned, he couldnât lead the knicks to the playoffs Those last couple years it wouldâve been the same situation with the Lakers with post achillies Kobe
None of those guys could lead a team to a ring, Melo? Maybe, Aldrige & dwight hell no
