I know we hate on him, but honestly he was our 6th man.
Not only did he motivate the Lakers team and fans, but his lackluster performances actually saved us.
Itโs not discussed enough how close game 4 was. He was consistently missing huge shots the stats donโt really reflect. We were literally one difficult layup with less than a second left from losing. Plus his inability to guard Lebron in OT closed the game.
I was literally clapping when he shot the ball. Meanwhile Luke Kennard was a total sniper.
So yeah actually Memphis played well except for game 6 but Brooks was a much needed lift.
