Laguna, is a technically landlocked region in the Philippines. It also the second largest contributor to the country's GDP. Laguna is home to a lot of industries that is also manufacturing related.
The west side of Laguna is notably richer than those in the eastern side. The explanation for this more likely is due to its proximity to Manila as the eastern parts remain agricultural economies for the most part.
As for the people, the western parts are obviously hold more progressive and cosmopolitan attitudes in comparison to the eastern side that harbors more....parochial and provincial attitudes.
For demographics meanwhile, the region has been filled with transplants over the years....regionalist sentiments are rare most of the time but more research is required.
To be continued.
