Hello! I just moved here to Lafayette last week for a 3 month work contract and need some recommendations on good spots/foods to check out!

I'm a 25 year old single male that likes to eat, shop, drink alot of iced coffee, collect action figures, go to the beach/pool, and sightsee! I can literally eat all types of food, but my favorite is definitely Mexican food, so any suggestions for Mexican food is a PLUS haha!

Also, I'm currently staying in an extended stay hotel for right now and it's expensive lol, so can anyone suggest a good/safe/cheap apartment complex that is preferably furnished and has a short term lease? I know it's hard finding short term lease housing, but I wouldn't mind like a 6-month lease. I would be working at IU Health Arnett, so ideally I would like to be around the area.

Also any places to avoid in the Lafayette area?
