How do I instill drive and effort in my teammates?

I’m the captain of my high school team and am the only committed collegiate player as well. The rest of my team, even the two other captains, greatly lack commitment to the team and don’t have much respect for our coach, which I can’t say is uncalled for. How can I motivate the team to really engage?

EDIT: Thank you so much to everyone for all the feedback and advice. I have made a plan to meet with the other captains to come up with some goals and expectations for the season and will definitely be implementing some of your guys’ feedback tonight at practice!
