Sharpening dissection tools?
Post Body

Hello! I'm kinda new to the lab but the tools in there are definitely not anywhere near new, a lot of them are dull and I find dissection difficult with them.

I've seen some threads on here about sharpening instruments but can anyone walk me through it? I'm talking to my PIs about getting a sharpening kit/stones from FST. The problem is that I'm not confident in sharpening. I've read articles about it but I'm worried about messing up my only forceps or curved scissors that I use daily haha

Any advice/suggestion is greatly appreciated, thank you :)
