New job with a demotion.
Post Body

I took a new job with a position demotion that I was super excited about. I got a significant pay bump for less responsibility. It’s super sick. I also just like the company a lot more and have a better relationship with managers. All around a win.

I saw my coworkers struggling with the instrument I spent years maintaining. I wanted to help but there was 3 chemists already working on it and it just wasn’t my place. I left feeling mixed feelings. I basically went from junior analytical chemist to senior lab tech. This is more of a vent than anything.

Anyone else experience a similar thing?
