Anyone actually having a good time play Quest?

I’ve read a lot of negative about this game as a poorly tested sandbox but it looks like it has potential if you start at level 1 and play up to 6 for example.
Is anyone enjoying it? Have you house ruled it? If you just want to bag on it maybe post that elsewhere. Looking for positive experiences.
