When do new hires get their first check

I started last week. I work from 9am-5pm Wednesday-Saturday this week but I might ask for Wednesday off I dont think I'm on the schedule officially Idk since I'm only one week in but when do i get paid I was going to pick up my first paycheck next Friday before I leave . Or is your first check held for three weeks. I was told i could pick up my first paycheck from customer service is that true?
