I'm coming from an ancient version of Photoshop Elements because my current computer is dying (this is the second time I've had to type this up due to a crash).
I want to change some things about Krita's UI but I don't know how:
1.) How do I prevent new documents from beginning with a locked white layer? I just want a blank transparent Layer 1.
2.) How do I hide the canvas? I'm used to being able to see my desktop behind the menu bar, toolbox, layers window, and image windows, but I've just got a huge grey wall here. How can I turn that off?
3.) How do I turn off the brush/swatch wheel that pops up when I right-click?
4.) How can I stop my images from zooming to fit my windows when I resize them? I want them to stay at fixed zoom levels.
5.) Can I customize the toolbox? I know I can customize a couple of the toolbars, but the toolbox has a lot of stuff I need scattered amongst a lot of other stuff I don't need.
I'm trying to migrate from Mac to Linux, would appreciate the help.
