Advice needed: start with private classes to get up to speed?
Post Body

I want to start training in krav maga but I'm not sure how to begin: with private instruction or in group classes. I'm thinking it might be good to do a couple months of private lessons before joining a class. Thoughts?

I guess I should add: another little wrinkle is that I live abroad in a country where I don't speak the language of instruction. I'm told that there are several other English speakers in the class (and someone always able "to translate") but obviously this is not ideal. I don't know how much krav maga instruction is verbal and how much is watching, doing, and letting the trainer correct your mistakes.
