Post Body

So I first started taking Kratom three years ago to help with a terrible drinking problem. It worked like a charm. Almost miraculous. I didn't want to drink anymore but I couldn't stop, every time I did my anxiety and depression was just too much and when I began taking Kratom the anxiety and depression went away therefore, I had no need to drink. Of course I then just substituted one addiction for another and took a large amount of Kratom 35 grams, everyday. I will say however, as far as addictions go Kratom is probably the best addiction you can have: least damaging, can still function perfectly, withdrawal isn't that bad.

Over the course of two years my hair started thinning but I am a man in my thirties so I just figured oh well, I must have that Gene. Then I began reading online that people were saying if you take large amounts of Kratom over a long time it causes your hair to fall out. Some people argue against this, some people say it's true, but it did happen to me the exact time I started taking large amounts of Kratom daily for a long time. I found this out shortly after I began shaving my head because my hair has thinned so much. So I decided it was time to cut back and see if this was true.

I take my Kratom using measuring spoons, when I was at my highest amount I would take one tablespoon at a time 4 to 6 times a day. I began just working my way down the measuring spoon sizes. I would stay at a new size for 2 to 3 weeks and then go down to the next lower size. I really didn't notice any difference at all. No withdrawal, nothing. The first benefit I noticed was the money I was saving. I went from using one kilo a month to a kilo lasting me 8 months now.

I was perfectly happy taking 35 grams a day and would never have lowered my amount if it wasn't for my hair thinning. I just wanted to share my experience with everyone here to get whatever benefit you can from it. The main points I think are that Kratom can definitely help save an alcoholic, and you don't have to take large amounts for it to work and if you are taking large amounts you can easily lower it no problem.

I'm currently at 3.75 g a day so I haven't completely stopped. Does anybody know, do you think this is a low enough amount that if Kratom was the cause of my hair thinning, that this amount is low enough for it to come back? Or do you have to completely stop 100%?

Well that's my story, hope it helps someone. I'll answer any questions if anyone has any.
