Opiate receptors??
Post Body

Why are The receptors on the brain called opiate receptors? Is it because they are the ones that bind with opiates? they say Kratom binds to some of the same opiate receptors therefore Kratom is an opiate. This doesn't make sense to me. Alcohol binds to some of the same Gaba receptors as benzos and there not considered to be the same thing. Is there something I am not getting or understanding here?
