This is what works for me. It’s just a suggestion, and may not work for everyone, but I’m sharing in the chance that it helps someone else who wants to lower their dose.
I find that Kratom stays in my system for long enough to where I don’t start to notice any withdrawal symptoms until the second day after I stop taking it. It’s very subtle for me and not even as bad as caffeine withdrawal but does cause some low level anxiety, restless legs, and insomnia if I’ve been taking it every day and then stop.
To reset my tolerance without any issues, I take one day off completely then lower my dose by half a gram for a couple days, take another day off, then lower another half gram, and repeat until I get to the lowest dose that normally does anything. This seems to work quickly and effectively.
