So my doctor had me on tramadol for like 20 years and then randomly decided that one day that they were not going to fill the prescription anymore because there is an opioid epidemic. They gave me two weeks to get off of it. I used Kratom to overcome a 20 year addiction to Tramadol. I feel like it saved my life.
However, I did kind of trade one addiction for another. But I have never cared because it controls my pain and I can get it and it’s whatever. I’ve been on it for like three years now.
Anyway, I just found out I am going to need my gallbladder removed. Which means I will be in the hospital. Which means nobody’s going to give me Kratom. I’m really afraid that I’m going to feel like I’m dying because I take it every day, 2 to 3 times a day. I’m not really sure what to do here. I have told a few different doctors that I take Kratom and they never even know what I am talking about. Do you guys have any suggestions?
