(I posted on r/kpop but realized it may be better to put here)
I went for Rain cause....when am I ever going to get to see that God of a man live in the US?? But I was too excited to to see NCT. The lady who had my ticket was late and while I was outside, pissed hearing the screams for NCT and the bass just jumping form Limitless...I silently burned with anger at missing them. I can't watch the fancams with out getting pissed. 😔
But then after seeing Exid and Red Velvet I cheered up and loved their stages, their voices!
Then the moment came and my Kpop God finally graced the stage with his presence. I am ashamed to say the video I recorded consisted of shakey visuals and a screaming banshee who nearly passed out as Rain came our way on the cat walk. Tall, gorgeous and that husky voice was just too much for me. I am thankful everyday to have been able to see that man live on stage in my life time. (I probably would have secretly murdered the lady who almost cost me.my ticket if I missed him😁) If you couldn't tell. Rain was the reason I got into KPop back in 2009. I was stuck on him and only him for a good 2 years before I branched out and found Big Bang to other groups and soloists. While Rain will always be my Ultimate Bias, I have taken to Wonho and Monsta X the last few years who fills my heart with joy these days. Park Hyo Shin, Naul, NCT and Stray Kids and Exo are all candy for my ears. I truly appreciate KPop and where its at today and hope more ppl find appreciation for it too, even tho they don't understand the words.
Those new to KPop dont get stuck on one group or soloist for too long or you'll miss out on the many other talents out there in KPop!
Thank you for reading from a proud Cloud, Wenee and Monbebe
