Forgive me if any of this formatting is off first of all.

I was on a site that shall not be named as it has many faces, some worse than others depending on the path you take on said site. I with a sigh and a shake of my head was reading all sorts of exchanges and thoughts on the whole "English" songs that idols make. There were a wide range of comments and emotions. I just found it silly in general and thought "what is the big deal". They are giving us music they have made with joy. They are singing not in their native tongue and sound fabulous. Then came the whole who did what better all the delightful things that come along with it. I left said site and went to listen to a play list I have had on my phone since 2010. And you know what idols singing in English is so nothing new. Rain's Sad Tango in English reminded me of that. He sang that song so beautifully in English and back then I don't think anyone made a stink that he sang in English but rather praised and enjoyed this song. Regardless of what language our chosen idol sings in...he/she/they is/are our idol/idols and we listen for the joy their music brings. Don't we? Well I sure do.
