*Warning: shitpost ahead
I’m not going to go into specifics because I’m not trying to call anyone out or out myself. But I made a post to one of the many Kpop subreddits about an opinion that I had. (I’m sure you can guess which sub it was on). And the topic was controversial, but my opinion was not ill-intentioned and had good reasoning and points to explain my thought process. I even made an edit to make sure that it was known that I had no ill intent at all. The comments weren’t necessarily...positive. And it’s not like I’m a ten year old girl that cries when someone doesn’t agree with me, but it still isn’t fun. Anyways, fast forward and someone makes a post with a similar if not exact point as what I made in my post. Which is fine, but like, suddenly everyone agrees...??? I don’t know if it’s because they’re post was longer, or that point wasn’t the focal point of their post but it was received much better than my post and I’m hella salty over it.
*sigh
I’m probably gonna delete this shitpost later on but this seriously bothered me.

Yikes, I'm sorry that happened. What is up with the lack of forgiveness culture anyway? Do the same people who say he doesn't deserve happiness believe that people who've committed petty crime deserve prison & to never get a job or the opportunity to reintegrate into society again? I feel like there is SUCH a dehumanization of Kpop idols sometimes. These are people & people do dumb shit and make mistakes.
