I genuinely don't care for the English in Kpop because it allows me to finally sing something I can actually say. Especially in rap. But, I have been recently listening to G Idle's OMG when Soyeon sings Set Me Free in the beginning (but not really set me free). I guess I don't like it when the lyrics and what the singer sings is completely different/ off the mark. Another example is Cheer Up by Twice. Chorup Baby? Some people might say that if they sing the actually English words, it would mess the flow of the song. I mean yes after all these times to change from Chorup Baby to Cheer Up Baby would be weird. But if they released it as Cheer Up Baby, no one would complain it messed the flow of the song.
