Imagine a new group. A HYBE girl group for example, actually letās just use NewJeans as an example. Imagine if they didnāt take the traditional kpop approach with MV Making videos, variety content, dance performances, music show appearances, TikTok collaborations etc etc but then delivered EXTREMELY good music and MVās , do you guys think the mystery behind the group would keep people addicted to them or do you think groups absolutely have to drown their audience in constant content to be relevant?
I had this thought because I feel like when ultra popular groups appear on music shows , or in TikTok collabs and so on, it kinda dilutes the āgiantā image they have. For example when Lisa came back with Lalisa, seeing her on music shows made her seem smaller for some reason, as if sheās on the same level as other idols. Which is fine, I loved seeing her but hopefully my point comes across and I donāt just drown in a sea of downvotes.
