I love my girls but the fandom is ruining the experience as a blink for me.

I’m honestly so tired, Kpop is supposed to be fun and enjoyable, the girls are super active in different fields and constantly interacting with us but for the fandom is never enough.

Rosé finally debuted as a solo artist but the fandom is finding every little mistake or whatsoever to complain about. Oh she only got two songs? Well we don’t know the reason, the girls are super close with Teddy so she probably agree to this. Oh her solos was supposed to come in 2019 but was delayed? Yes it’s unfortunate but let’s move on, it will probably never have been so successful as it is now and the company definitely choose to prioritise the group to give them more songs before realising more solos and 2019 was financially not a good year for them.

We got two mvs for the two songs, promotions in South Korea, in the US, in the UK, in Japan and even in Australia ( and she recently got a Chinese interview), but even all that it is not enough for them. « Yes she didn’t go to this specific shows, YG is definitely sabotaging her ».

Everyday is « f*ck YG » « Yg is mistreating Blackpink » « Burn YG ». Oh Jisoo got a lead role in a drama for her acting debut without an acting degree or more acting experience and even though it’s difficult for some experienced actresses to lend lead roles. She got multiple gigs and brand ambassadors deals and currently having a weekly show with Line friends, yeah let’s send trucks because she is really mistreated as an artist.

Oh Lisa is currently a judge on a Chinese show for the second time even without being fluent in Chinese, got multiple gigs and brands deals with multiple companies literally everywhere, yeah let’s definitely send trucks because she is mistreated.

Oh YG didn’t confirm or deny the dating rumour about Jennie and GD, even though they are right and it none of our and their business, yeah they clearly hate her. She recently open her YouTube channel because she wanted to post vlogs for us, she having cfs deals every month and doing photoshoots every month which she clearly enjoyed because she said multiple times that she loves fashion, but no she is so mistreated.

There are valid concerns that should be express or requests that we have for our favorite artist, but the inability of the fandom as a whole to not be able to rejoice and to always complain and to demand so much, act as if the girls are not human beings and have a clear control of what they want to do or not is beyond me. It is as if they are wishing for them to be overworked.

They are the biggest girlgroup right now, yes Teddy prefer having few releases for the sake of his « quality over quantity thing » even the girls said that themselves, well it’s their choice what can we do about it, let’s accept that and move on.

I don’t even want to defend the company, but the constant harassment for the staff that work for the girls is not acceptable. The YG ad account didn’t post some covers of Jennie fast enough, the comment section was flooded with insults. Their maekeup artist, photographer, choreographers, hairstylists.... are constantly insulted and disrespected and it’s have been years and nothing has changed.

Blackpink is not a self produced group, their staff should be praise and more acknowledged for the work they do with the girls, for the music, the fashion, literally everything.

YG still have some work to do as a company but the grils are not their only artists under their management. The YG ad account is literally their actors, singers and models, the girls shouldn’t have priority over those people. Since last year and the change in ceo, there are multiple comebacks from the artists, but every day blinks are under the tweets and posts for other artists to complain.

They are where they are thanks to their staff. All the brand deals that they have and gigs are contracts negotiated by their staff. They have the freedom to open personal YouTube’s channels, Instagram accounts, something that till this days some groups don’t have the freedom to do.

Let’s be happy, please. The girls are not mistreated, they are active and booked, and let’s try to be more respectful to their staff.
