Like why can’t they leave the idols alone? I know they have the ability to influence many people, but they do know that some companies probably wouldn’t want their idols to get involved for whatever reasons right? From what I know, many idols need to get permission from their mangers before posting something. When they do speak up about BLM they get attacked??? “DONATE THEN””OPEN YOUR WALLET” Asking them to donate blah blah blah. B*tch please it’s not up to anyone to determine what they did was enough. Can they stop using “moral kidnaping” on idols and make them feel like shit? And it doesn’t mean they don’t talk about it they’re fine with it? I’m honestly so pissed when I see people pressuring and scolding them for it. For goodness sake just leave them tf alone:)
Edit: Oh and I hate it when people tryna be a saint to make themselves feel good. I literally feel like half of the People attacking or “calling out” the idols are just trying to make themselves feel “Oh I’m such a nice person for trying to spread awareness on this matter” Like please go get a life. If they wanna be such a saint why aren’t they volunteering and helping at developing countries, instead of hiding behind the screens to help people 🙄🙄
Edit2: My intent of this post is not to disrespect BLM in anyway. I’m just expressing my frustrations because duhhh obviously why I posted on a rant sub.

Yeah, the US never sees it as a problem when they meddle in other countries' affairs and cause generations of damage. Oh well, but I do think it's something American Kpop fans should take into context the next time they make Koreans (and other Asians) seem big and bad for "stealing their culture". I sometimes feel like the suffering of Asia in the hands of the West is downplayed by Western countries to a horrifying degree, and this is one of the many instances of it.
