I know the kpop standom can be pretty wild when it comes to defending their faves, but guys, this is the internet. This is reddit. Nothing bad is going to happen to you if you share a negative opinion and people get offended. Are your feelings going to be THAT poor off from a couple of reddit care messages?
The reason I say this is because there are so many shady posts going up lately where it's "I'm so tired of groups or idols who do x, there are SO many examples but I won't name any because I don't want to get hate". No, tell me who you're ranting about. This is a RANT subreddit. Having 15 people in the comments going "DM me who this is about" is so obnoxious. Either put up or shut up, get yourself some thick internet skin. If 15 year olds on the internet want to waste their time sending you mean comments because you don't think Bang Chan (or whoever) is the second coming of Christ, let them! Why are you letting children bully you into censorship in a rant subreddit?!
It's especially irritating when it's "we all know about the issue with [REDACTED] but I won't say who because it might start a fanwar". If you're not impassioned enough to say a name, it's not a very good rant, point blank. Not all of us are chronically online, not all of us know about every issue that's ever happened in the kpop world, so it becomes a real problem of quality when these unobvious rants appear.
Do yourself a favor. Save your comment section from people going "who???" or automatically assuming it's about BTS/Blackpink and pre-emptively going after you with pitchforks. Just say what you mean, and if you don't want to take the chance on an argument, either use a throwaway account or use the "lock me please" option. The sub will be so much better for it.
