Kind of new to Kpop, why does everyone keep saying "Comeback"?

It seems like every new song is a comeback, even if the group didn't really go anywhere. Am I just misunderstanding this or what? Groups that released a song the same year still talk about comeback (blackpink specifically released As if it's your last in 2017 and people still talk about comeback) Normal artists usually go 5-10 years or more before it's called a comeback. What gives?
