So I was watching IVE music videos when while watching Kitsch, I had a interesting observation about Lee Seo and the observation comes from the fact that IVE has 13(?) music videos and in all those videos, I’ve noticed how LeeSeo is dressed and that she’s dressed like the rest of the members(nothing to revealing or sexual) and their choreography is nothing that would drive DIVES crazy and complain to StarShip.

Why is this observation important? Well because of Eunchae!

LE SSERAFIM has 7(?) music videos and out of the 7, 3 music videos(also Smart) have been put on blast for suggestive/inappropriate dance moves that’s more suited for the 4 older members and with the backlash that this whole comeback is getting more than their past releases, it made me think about how Eunchae is being treated more like a barely legal adult(someone who just turned 18) compared to other minors her age or younger than her.

Examples:

CSR: All members are born in 2005 and some of them are 18 while others are 17/16. Their (from what I’m seeing) is being treated like their age and not putting in a position that’ll make fans upset or them uncomfortable

NewJeans: The members are between the ages of 19-15 and their being treated like teenagers/school friends and not being put into uncomfortable situations(Cookie was a 1 time thing and I’m mainly talking about over all)

Kep1er: 4 of the members are between the ages 18-19 and although WakeOne is shitty, their also treating these 4 like their ages especially when majority of the group are 20-27(adults). So far I’ve never seen a single member dance sensually or dressed in a revealing way either! Their being treated like everyone else

Lightsum: They literally had 2 minors in their group but was treated shitty by CUBE and kicked them out just for the group to do mature concepts(wild tbh especially now)

Basically I’m seeing how companies handle minors with 2 lenses and it’s crazy to me that StarShit is treating LeeSeo the same way they treat the rest of IVE while when SourceMusic does it with Eunchae — it’s still not perfect! Although when Eunchae turns 18 9 months from now it won’t make a difference to SourceMusic but as of now, their testing the waters too dangerously which will cause some people to sexualize Eunchae.

Summed Up: SourceMusic should treat Eunchae the same way other companies treat minors
