[BREAKING] SM and DSP reach an agreement to have YoungJi simultaneously promote with KARA and SNSD

Representatives from SM Entertainment and DSP Media have revealed they have agreed to have up and coming idol Heo Young-Ji promote simultaneously with both KARA and SNSD.

Statements from SM: "We believe that YoungJi is a very good fit for SNSD, Seohyun is maturing well enough to finally relinquish herself of the maknae title. Sunny will be a tremendous asset for YoungJi's growth as they are both Roommates.

With DSP's guidance we also entertained the possibility of holding a 'Baby SNSD' audition, as well as entertained the ideas of reuniting the girls with Clara or Soyeon. However, we [including DSP] feel we made the right decision."

Statements from DSP: "We were very surprised by SM Entertainment's offer, but reached a very quick agreement because we could not help but think how beneficial it would be for Young-Ji's growth to have two sets of experienced and mature members to help her. We are very pleased and hope that you support the new Double Maknae as she sets off on her new path."
