Hey guys, my brothers and I were born in Australia but our parents chose our korean citizenship at birth over our Aussie ones. We eventually got our Australian citizenship when we were young, but apparently it’s dual citizenship until you’re 28. I’ve hit the age so now I can’t be a Korean citizen but my little brother has decided to do military service in Korea to keep his Korean citizenship. Two questions: 1. Has anyone done this and is it possible to keep your western citizenship and korean one. 2. Has anyone done this with minimum Korean language skills? How was it/ is bullying a thing?
