Koreans living outside of Korea, how do you celebrate cultural traditions?

Post Body

I'm a Korean-Canadian woman who moved to Canada as a child. I feel like I've lost a lot of my Korean heritage and I want to stay in touch with my Korean identity by participating in more Korean traditions like μ„€λ‚  or 좔석. However, I don't know how to start, since pretty much all of the traditions seem to revolve around family, and I live thousands of miles away from my nearest family members.

Additionally, for the slightly older Korean emigrants, do you/how do you participate in rites like 폐백 and 돌? Is this complicated if you have a non-Korean partner?
