Update: since someone pointed out to me I can get lids for them I'm going to keep a few to put my fresh dried herbs from my garden in since I think they are prettier than the Mason jars I currently use. After that I'll figure out donations for the rest.
For context, I like jars. I like glass containers. I've made candles before and it's fun but time and space consuming.
I also have a dairy allergy, but miss yogurt and dairy free yogurts aren't usually the same.
Well I found one recently that was a game changer, it was this fancy little glass jar coconut milk yogurt and it reminded me of dairy yogurt and it was amazing! After finishing the yogurts I put the little glass jars in the dishwasher and I loved the shape and the size and was like "omg I could make candles in these! " and I was so excited and I kept the jars on the counter while I figured out how to get the labels off and then after a couple days I looked at them and thought,
"wait. These spark joy because I enjoy them, they taste good and are safe for me to eat. I like the feel of the glass jar. I like that it's glass and not plastic and that feels good and like a direction I want to move in... but I don't like the idea of keeping them for crafts. I like that they are more sustainable for me to use, and then dispose of properly. Thank you jars for helping me start to find that envisionment for my future self" and I let them go.
