I have a bunch of old notebooks and journals. I like writing my thoughts out on paper because it's a good way to think, and keep track of my typical thinking patterns. I also have taken many college courses for which I now have pages and pages of notes.
Sometimes alongside the trivial stuff, like notes for my video games, project ideas I never followed up on, and so on, there's some stuff I'll probably want to save. Not sure exactly how, but probably as a physical page in a binder and as a digital file. (Meaning I'll be photographing/scanning with my phone every single page I decide to keep.)
I don't want to throw these all away, but it's tempting. Because actually sorting through this is going to be a headache. I know almost none of the pages spark joy, but I may want to keep some because of the use of their contents, kind of like textbooks. Others may have individual journal entries that "spark joy" out of a hundred or more pages in a notebook. So going through them is going to be very time-consuming.
Any tips for sorting them out that might make it go faster, or do I just need to grind away? Thanks in advance!
