Disclaimer- this post is not intended to harm any sentiments. I am just sharing two incidents which happened to me in the past one month

1. I was returning home from my swimming lessons. The pool is 4-5 km away from my house and i generally take my car. A drunk truck driver crashed into my car. The incident happened really close to my house and i was lucky enough that my local friends could show up in time to help. My car went through damage which costed me 15k to fix i was luckily untouched. Now comes the twist. A local police officer came and told me settle the case with some damage (1k). However I told him i want to file a police complaint. The truck had no paperwork and it was not even fit to run on the road according to rto rules. The police indirectly threatened me that i will face consequences if i go file a report (they basically take monthly and let these bastards do anything on road). My friends adviced me to get out of this shit and get my car fixed on insurance

Incident 2

This happened 14 hours ago. It was late morning around 11am and me and my friends were coming back from a female friends house where we went 2 hours ago. 4 of us were male and 3 girls were there in the group. All of us boys and one girl from the group were walking forward & we didn’t notice that the other two girls were not with us. They were left behind for some reason. We stop to wait and 2 mins later both of them come panicked and shivering. Upon asking what happened, they said a man groped them and started masturbating on the road. Let me tell you it was not a very shady place. It was the prime time of the morning and many people were present on the road including us 200mtrs ahead. We immediately rushed and caught the man and gave him a few tight slaps until some local uncles came and told us not to beat him rather hand him over to the police.

Now, there’s one thing common in both these incidents. The two men (driver & the pervert) were non bengalis and belonged to a specific state (yes you are right it starts with B). I am so disturbed after today’s incident. Aren’t we safe in our own state ?
