So I created a MySQL server on my desktop, but nothing new added to the library shares

It's kind of strange, everything that was there when I set up the share works just great. Anything new I add works on the desktop, but if I try and play them on either of the raspberry Pi devices it says "This file is no longer available. Remove from library?" I remove it, the desktop adds it again, a pi removes it, desktop adds it again.
It's within the same share as all of the other media, and I ensured permissions were recursive as well.
Any ideas?
