I have Kodi installed on an Intel NUC, configured with 7.1 channel, passthrough enabled for all formats with WASAPI and it's connected to a Sony STR-DH790 receiver. Been using Kodi with Chorus 2 so I can set playlists and listen to music from my desk via the web interface. The music is all local FLAC from my NAS library.
I notice though, that the sound is a bit muddy, and when I compare it with other players like VLC or MPC-HC, Kodi sounds much worse than those players. It's great for video but with music it just sounds kind of bad.
Is there any fix for this or anyone know what the issue could be?
