So, I got a Raspberry Pi3B with a Kodi installation, a hard drive, and some other applications installed (Thus, I only start Kodi when I'm going to use it).
My "problem(s)" is that the library update/cleanup process takes a bit, and that, to make a backup, I need to manually launch Kodi, then the backup, and I'm looking for a way to do it automatically.
My idea would be to have "something" that I can call from command line to update/cleanup the media library and another "something" to call it to create the backups, so I can set up to run it when I'm not using the pi for anything else. Other option could be to launch Kodi and automate the actions, but I don't really know how could I check for the update/cleanup process to have finished, so...
Anyway, any idea on how to achieve this? Thanks!
