I've got it for my bday in 2022 and hadn't had a problem with it, I've put 73 books on it. It worked fine. It went fine until I started my trip around the world in September 2022. The kobo has already reset itself twice. First time I didn't lose anything , but today I lost it all. My books,my folders to organize my books, my stats,....

The first time the battery was low and it just reset itself. I couldn't do anything but once it was fully drained,I guess, it reset itself when I put in the charger. I had to chose my language again ,but my books were still there.

Now second time,today, it resetted. Battery was again low so I wanted to charge trough te campervan. Kobo thinks it a pc ,but no worries because i have charged before like this and went to bed. I got up and it displayed a triangle with a exclamation mark in it. I was hurried so didn't read it carefully,but I think it just stated it needs connecting to the "pc" or battery is extremely low. Now I wanted to charge it while driving but my phone had priority. So I charged my phone while we drove to our several destinations and around 14h I remember my kobo needs charging. So I plug it in, open it and see it has resetted.the screen ask for language and if I select it it behaves like it is new. I can't seem to find any book when I connect it to the laptop.

I'm just disappointed and wonder what to do now,can I recover my books? (not bought through the store). Can I recover my stats? ( I don't think I have a kobo account,but do have a bol.com account linked to it I think.) I'll keep the e reader, but is this something I have to expect often? Can I make a backup of the books and their folders/maps?
