Can’t tie hoodie string

I recently got a new hoodie with very long strings which cover part of the design and I have been trying for hours, watching countless YouTube videos, and for the life of me I just can’t tie it. I’ve tried making it into a bow but the bows just fall and it doesn’t look good and any videos I watch the persons hand just covers what they’re doing and I just can’t figure it out. Any help would be appreciated!
