Looking at around 25-45F weather. 40mph winds is pretty normal, only moderately rainy.
I'll only get wet if things go very very wrong.

Bingo. Work on an oil rig, 3rd party guy, not Schlumberger though. This coverall is the typical North Sea style I think, most people wear the same pattern. Orange is generic, Schlumberger usually in blue.
They're really strict on boots here, can't wear them beyond the changing room. We all wear our house shoes (usually trainers) to the heliport because we slip them over our chopper immersion suits.
