Buyer's Remorse

I usually buy knives online with zero chance of getting the tactile feel of a sample. I just observed that every time i buy a knife, there's an immediate buyer's remorse even with a relatively high dollar knife (spyderco, upper tier morakniv). However, I usually warm up to the knife in a matter of hours/days.
Anybody experience the same?
