Curse of the boyfriend’s….cat blanket??

So we’ve all heard of the curse of the boyfriend sweater
But recently i started making a blanket for our (my boyfriend’s) cat out of scrap yarn, and at the same time we had some relationship drama go down and up until TODAY i wasn’t sure if we would make it out
And i just realized if we had broken up, i wouldn’t have been able to give our cat the blanket 😿
So, not exactly a sweater, but i wonder if there’s something to this curse after all 😱
