New Knitter - please help me!

Hi I wasn’t sure if anyone could help me I’m trying to pick out the right yarn for this pattern. I’m super new to knitting but have been crocheting for a few years now. The yarn I want to use is wool-ease. Thanks I’m advance I just don’t want to buy the wrong yarn.

Yarn description Weight Category: 6 Weight: Solids:6 oz./170g (106 yd/97 m) Knit Gauge: 4 in = 9 stitches on size 13 needles

The pattern description is this Gauge: approx 8.5 sts and 11 rows to 4 inches(10 cm) Tools 12mm(us17) knitting needles
