Switching needles in the middle of a project (.25mm needle difference)

Post Body
I just got a new pair of needles, size 1 (2.5mm) flexiflips for knitting socks, but the socks I’m planning to use them on have been worked so far on size 1 (2.25mm) Chiagoo magic loop method. They’re a pretty vanilla pair of socks, so I’m hoping the .25mm gauge difference won’t really matter after blocking, any thoughts or insight?
I’m not a perfectionist, I just want my socks to fit and not look noticeably weird (and I’m not regularly planning to switch like this).
