So, I've recently gotten into knitting circles in the pi shawl pattern, but on a smaller scale. Like coasters and berets (doing pattern until right size, and then doing the pattern in reverse until it leaves the right size for the head hole.)
Currently, I've started going to game nights with friends, specifically playing DND and The Fantasy Trip, so I wanted to make a dice tray, since I don't have one, and the rest of my group does.
So, I started knitting a circle, thinking that I could make a circle with an edge going straight up on the side, creating a short half cylinder.
The only problem is that I can't find any information on how I would shape it like I want. For context, I have 128 stitches in my circle at the very edge.
If I've explained this poorly, please let me know so I can clarify, but tldr, I want to make a circle with an attached wall without knitting and sewing together two separate pieces.
If you have any ideas, let me know. I'm sure there's a way to do this in crochet, though I truthfully am terrible at crocheting and would like to figure out how to do this in knitting.
