I’m running around the Alamo today with my son. Does anyone have any beta on col Bowies actual blade design? I included a few photos from the collection- last photo was just interesting- of period blades and reproductions of his design. I’m curious if any drawings or references material exist regarding his blade. Big knives were common- what made his stand out ? He was a known knife fighter, so I’m curious about what made his blade design stand out from similar period big blades. Why did his become myth and legendary v other similar blades of the period.
