Help. Looking at a new edc.

I'm new here so don't shun me. I use to think benchmade knives where the end all be all. After finally hopping on the Instagram train I quickly learned other wise. I realized I really want a borka but not looking to get a new car loan for one. So now I'm looking into a microtech. I also should point out i will never spend more then 400 on a knife. After that I really can't tell what the difference between say a benchmade or a borka is. So um....any suggestions?
