I'd like to get a couple of my managers a nice knife for Christmas but one that would also be functional for things that they do while at work, like open boxes and cut the lids off of boxes. I have a Benchmade Partial Immunity and this appears to be perfect for that, at least the blade size/shape. However, people use box cutters for a reason, I assume cardboard will dull a knife quickly. Do many knife owners use their blade to open boxes frequently, as in not the occasional box from Amazon, but several cardboard cuts a day? I'm trying to determine how practical a knife is for frequently cutting cardboard. Thank you and any feedback or ideas would be appreciated!
