Electrical help
Post Body

hi all, I recently replaced some parts on my 2018 klr (my brother jacked it up pretty good) and am having some electrical issues after doing so. Was hoping someone would have some ideas about things to check first.

List of parts replaced:

  • headlight assembly
  • entire cowling
  • turn signal relay
  • right engine shroud
  • dash/instrument panel bracket (required unhooking and rehooking some connectors)

Symptoms:

  • high beam indicator light doesn't work when high beam is activated
  • turn signal indicator light does not blink when the turn signals are activated. all turn signals flash normally

  • tachometer doesn't do anything, it sits at zero RPM no matter what

-brake lights, headlights, neutral light, instrument cluster backlighting, speedo, and horn all work

anyone know whats up? any help is appreciated

EDIT: thanks for the advice, the large gray connector was a little loose. All is well
